Starting her career by showcasing her musical talents on TikTok and quickly finding the limelight, singer-songwriter Nessa Barrett's stardom shone through at her latest Manchester performance. Passing through the Academy on her 'Aftercare World Tour', Barrett treated the audience to their first chance to hear tracks from her second studio album 'Aftercare' live, including hits like "P*RNSTAR" and "LOVE LOOKS PRETTY ON YOU" that fans had been patiently waiting to sing along to.

Opening for Barrett was another musician who found their fame from the social media world, Sombr, whose meteoric rise to fame came earlier this year after tracks "Back to Friends" and "Undressed" gained immense traction on TikTok.
